How much is delivery?

Delivery is free on every UK order. Tracked UK delivery usually takes 1–2 business days once your order is dispatched.

Will my cat actually go in?

Every cat is different, so go at their pace. Leave it open in the living room for a few days with a pinch of catnip or a favourite blanket inside, then try short garden sessions with you beside them. The 7-day guide takes it step by step.

Will it fit my cat?

It's about 70cm across, which suits most adult cats. For very large breeds such as Maine Coons, check the size guide first.

What's in the box?

Tabby cat on a windowsill looking out at a garden it cannot reach

They watch the garden all day. You feel guilty all day.

You keep them in because you love them: the road, the foxes, the worry they won't come home. But then there's the crying at the back door, the nose pressed to the glass, and that feeling you're keeping something from them.

  • Crying and scratching at the door
  • The harness they flop over in
  • A catio quote for £3,000
  • A landlord who says no
  • People telling you it's cruel to keep them in

Nearly 1 in 3 UK cats now live indoors only, and most have no safe outdoor space. PDSA PAW Report 2024

All the outdoors. None of the worry.

A roomy mesh sphere that pops up in seconds. Your cat sits on the grass, sniffs the breeze and watches the birds, while you sit right next to them.

  1. Pop it open. It springs into shape. No tools, no build.
  2. Set it down. Flat grass, a patio or a balcony, somewhere shady.
  3. Sit outside together. Tea for you, grass for them. Zip it shut and fold it flat after.

Cat welfare experts recommend controlled outdoor time, such as an enclosure, as the middle ground between indoors-only and free roaming.

They choose to go in.

Cats like to explore on their own terms. Every order comes with our 7-day guide and free catnip to make the first visit easy.

  1. Days 1–3: indoors, door open. Leave it in the living room with a blanket and a pinch of catnip inside. Let them sniff and nap.
  2. Days 4–7: short garden visits. Zip it shut on a quiet patch of lawn for 10–15 minutes, with you sitting next to them.
  3. After that: build it up. 15–20 minute sessions in the shade, with water nearby.

Questions

Isn't it like putting a cat in a hamster ball?

It's a pop-up garden pod, not a toy to roll them around in. It sits on flat ground so your cat can sit, lie down and look out at the world while you're right beside them. Cats that take to it tend to curl up and watch the birds.

Will my cat panic?

Take it slowly. Start indoors with the door open and a pinch of catnip or a few treats inside, then short garden sessions with you next to them. Every cat is different, so let them set the pace, and bring them in if they seem unsettled.

Can they escape or rip the mesh?

The zip closes the door fully and the mesh is fine and tough. Like any mesh, a determined cat can scratch at it, so set it up somewhere safe, away from roads, and check on them regularly.

What if they need the toilet?

Keep sessions short (15–20 minutes) and pop them out after a litter-tray visit. A washable blanket or towel on the floor makes clean-up easy.

Does it roll?

It can, if your cat walks about, but many cats simply sit and watch. Use it on flat, level ground, away from steps, slopes and water.

What if my cat doesn't react to catnip?

Not every cat does. Treats, a favourite blanket or a toy inside work just as well. The 7-day guide covers all of them.

Is it too hot in summer?

The mesh lets air through, but like any outdoor space it can get warm in direct sun. Use it in the shade, keep water nearby, and skip the hottest part of the day.

What about foxes, dogs or birds of prey?

It keeps your cat in one place, but it isn't a shelter from other animals. If foxes or dogs come into your garden, keep an eye out and check on your cat regularly.

What if something breaks?

Every Pod comes with a 3-month warranty. If the frame or zip fails in that time, send us a photo and we'll post a free replacement part.

How do I store it?

It twists down into a flat disc and slips into its carry bag, so it lives behind a door or under the bed.
